You
pass them every day in the hall. They sit in your classroom. They eat
in the cafeteria. But until they explode in a violent rage or send a
spray of bullets through a crowd, how can anyone know who is a P.D.S.
"Potentially
Dangerous Student"?

2nd
Annual Conference on School Violence Prevention
The
focus is the Potentially
Dangerous Student and methods that will expose the PDS before
anyone gets hurt. Once discovered THEN
WHAT?
Part of this conference will involve hearing from other school and law
enforcement professionals on what has worked in their area to interdict
violence and obtain help for PDS.
You will learn about a Nationally
Used Assessment Tool
that will help determine the PDS from just a Prankster and much more.
Other topics will be "Managing
Anger in the PDS" and "Bullying
and the PDS".
If you work with students, as an educator, School Resource Officer,
parent or other capacity, make plans now to join us in Orlando, July
29-30 to learn from others in the field how your organization can be
